Cooperation of the Public Services Agency with the National Anticorruption Center

On February 12, 2020 the Public Services Agency held a working meeting with representatives of the National Anticorruption Center.

The participants of the meeting discussed the aspects of an effective cooperation between the institutions in the context of combating the phenomenon of corruption in the provision of public services by the PSA.

It was decided to develop and approve a bilateral cooperation agreement between the PSA and NAC, according to which a number of measures will be taken to counter the risks of fraud in the process of provision the PSA services, and namely:

  • development of a Joint Action Plan of the PSA and NAC;
  • information exchange of data between the PSA and NAC;
  • a more dynamic activity of the Commission  for the examination of  appeals and fraud in the process of obtaining a driving license;
  • cultivation of the spirit of intolerance towards the phenomenon of corruption and its prevention by holding thematic seminars, as well as training of the future employees of the PSA.

The Director of the Public Services Agency Tatiana Cunetchi thanked the NAC representatives for an efficient cooperation and emphasized the priority of the mandatory implementation of the planned measures. She also focused on maximum emphasis on the organization of activities aimed at combating and preventing corruption in the provision of public services.
