When submitting an application for the issuance of identity documents, registration at a permanent or temporary residence, authorization for the emigration of residents of the Republic of Moldova, repatriation of citizens of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the issuance of extracts from the State Register of the Population or other informational resources of the Public Services Agency, the presentation of civil status documents is not mandatory in the following cases:
- the applicant was recorded in the State Register of the Population prior to the date of submission of the application, and information about their personal data, civil status, as well as registered and issued civil status documents was updated in the State Register of the Population as a result of initial registration and the provision of public services for the issuance of identity documents, matters of civil status, and citizenship;
- there have been no changes in the civil status or personal data of the applicant since the issuance of the last identity document of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova.
In addition, along with the application, the applicant, their legal representative, or the person acting in the applicant's interest, in accordance with legal provisions, submits a written declaration under personal responsibility confirming that their personal data in the State Register of the Population is up-to-date and accurate.
