VITALIE CIOLAC: “The first multifunctional office of the Public Services Agency will be opened before December 1”

27.09.2017 16:18

The Deputy Director of the Public Services Agency Vitalie Ciolac participated on September 26 in the TV program “Day by day with Victoria Kryukova” on the Publika TV channel.

During the TV program the Deputy Director noted that by the end of November 2017 the first multifunctional center of the Public Services Agency will be opened in Straseni municipality with the subsequent replication in other districts of the country. The services provided to the population by this office will be carried out on the “single window” principle, which implies one-time visit to one office, dealing only with one operator and submitting only the identity card.

According to Vitalie Ciolac, due to the information technologies that will be implemented in multifunctional centers with the support of the World Bank and E-Government Center, the Agency will be able to provide modernized public services, thereby facilitating the process of providing services to individuals and legal entities and also combating corruption.

The Deputy Director also stated that in the following period the management of the Agency shall cancel certain internal orders of the reorganized enterprises and will propose a number of amendments to the current legislation in order to exempt the citizens from the need to sublmit certificates with the information contained in the state registers, which were transferred to the State Services Agency after reorganization.

Thus, certain bureaucratic stages of documenting will be excluded: „Citizens will come to a multifunctional office twice: for the first time to apply for a service, and for the second time to receive the document”, Vitalie Ciolac specified.
