Digital services and a self-service area in Multifunctional Centers

25.10.2017 17:07

The Public Institution „Public services agency” continues the series of reforms to simplify public service issuance processes, to reduce bureaucracy and corruption at work.

Thus, in order to minimize the influence of the human factor, some services provided by the institution will be digitized. The statement was made yesterday by Director of the Public Services Agency, Serghei Railean, during the Publika Report program with Vitalie Dogaru at Publika TV. “Some of the services will be removed altogether, and some of them will be digitized and placed on the MConnect platform, and through MAcces, authorized institutions will be able to access the databases”, the Director of PSA specified.

Furthermore, the MConnect Interoperability Governmental Platform facilitates the exchange of data between authorities to increase the efficiency and quality of public service issuance. Through this platform, public authorities exchange data in real time, without requiring them from citizens and entrepreneurs.

Within the same program, the Director of the Public Services Agency stated about how the process of providing public services will be carried out in the Multifunctional Centers, which the institution will open. According to Serghei Railean, the multifunctional offices will have a self-service area with computers and terminals, where the digital signature holders will be able to access some of the services.

“Our ultimate goal is that the person would come to the Multifunctional Center only once with the identity card without paying extra for the information that belongs to him/her”, the Director of PSA specified.
