The second Multifunctional Center of the Public Services Agency was opened today, April 13, 2018, in the municipality of Cahul. The event was attended by the Director of the PSA Sergiu Railean, deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Elena Bacalu, Mayor of Cahul Nicolae Dandis and Head of the District Ion Groza.
„I am glad that in this city we set up a multifunctional center that meets all the requirements, an office that will provide services at the highest level to over 100000 inhabitants of the district and where the Agency’s employees will feel comfortable ”, the director of the institution Sergiu Railean said.
Deputy Elena Bacalu mentioned that the opening of the multifunctional centers of the PSA is part of the reforms initiated by the Government and aimed at improving the citizens’ lives. „It is an honor that the second multifunctional center was opened in our town”, Elena Bacalu added.
The edifice is located in the center of the town and is accessible to the citizens. Formerly the building hosted the Identity Document Issuance Service and Vehicle Registration and Driver Qualification Section. The building was transformed into a modern office that provides citizens with the highest level of comfort. The testing ground for drivers examination is located behind the building. For the repair works and technical equipment of the center 1,8 million lei were allocated from the PSA budget.
Ion Groza, Head of the District, says that the „single window” has an important role for the local community, because citizens will feel the benefit of reforms and the fact that things are changing for the better.
The Cahul Multifunctional Center will have 26 operators in its staff. They will provide over 1000 public services in the fields of registration of population, registration and licensing of legal entities, documentation of drivers, registration of immovable property and rights thereon.
