The Registration and Licensing of Law Entities Department of the Public Services Agency has begun to examine the first requests regarding the provision of information from the State Register of Non-Commercial Organizations. The requests were received by the institution just the next day after the publication of the Law no.31 of 16.03.2018 on amendments and additions to certain legislative acts in the Official Monitor.
According to the new legislative provisions, the competences of the Ministry of Justice regarding the registration of non-commercial organizations were passed to the Public Institution „Public Services Agency”. The legal forms of organization of non-commercial entities are the following: public association, foundation, employers’ association, union of legal entities, public institution, private institution, trade union and other types of trade union organizations, periodicals and press agencies, political parties and other social-political organizations, religious cults, religious communities and religious institutions, mediation organizations.
At the same time, it should be noted that based on Paragraph (2) of Art. XIX of the Law no. 31 of 16.03.18 the Ministry of Justice jointly with the Public Services Agency shall ensure the delivery/acceptance of the registration dossiers of non-commercial organizations, registers of non-commercial organizations and electronic platforms on which they are kept.
