Starting today, May 24, 2018, the Public Service Agency will register social enterprises and integration social enterprises. Among the founders of such enterprises can be: public associations, foundations, religious groups, private institutions and/or individuals. In addition, limited liability companies and production cooperatives may be granted the status of social enterprise and integration social enterprise.
Social enterprises and integration social enterprises will benefit from measures of support and encouragement from both the State and the local public administration authorities.
It shoul be mentioned that the social enterprise carries out social entrepreneurship activities in order to solve social problems of community interest, however the integration social enterprises are social enterprises that aim at creating jobs and providing jobs, as a priority, for people from disadvantaged categories of the population.
