Starting June 4, 2018, the Identity Documents Office „Centru” in Chisinau municipality will start to work at 7.00. The extended work schedule will be applicable until the 24th of August. It was established on the basis of the order issued by the Director of the PSA, Sergiu Railean, to ensure an efficient management of the large number of applications for the issuance of ID documents during the summer. The employees of IDO „Centru” will serve the citizens from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:00 without a lunch break, and at weekends from 9:00 to 13:00.
At the same time, we would like to point out that on June 3, 2018, the employees of the IDOs of the municipality will work from 7.00 to 21: 00 to provide the residents of Chisinau, who have the right to vote, with identity documents in order to ensure their participation in the second round of elections of the mayor of Chisinau.
Optionally, from May 29, 2018 to June 3, 2018 inclusively, the citizens may apply for the provisional identity card that will be issued free of charge, in accordance with the territorial principle. The citizens, who have applied for the identity card during the period 18 - 31 May 2018 inclusively, may receive it irrespective of the time limit for the provision of the service requested and the fee paid.
Citizens having their domicile or residence registration in the Buiucani sector will be served at the IDO within the Multifunctional Center Chisinau 1 located on Mihai Viteazul Street, which is currently under test.
At the same time, the Public Services Agency informs that Friday, June 1, 2018, is a day of rest for the employees of the institution, except for the territorial subdivisions of the Department of Vehicle Registration and Driver Qualification in the municipalities of Chisinau, Balti, Orhei and Edinet. For that day employees working from Monday to Friday will work on June 23, 2018, and those working from Tuesday to Saturday will work on June 25, 2018.
