A new multifunctional center operating according to the “single window” principle was opened on June 6, 2018, in Rezina district. The event was attended by the Head of the district Eleonora Graur, the mayor of Rezina Simion Tatarov and the executive board of the Public Services Agency.
The edifice is located in the center of the town, on Matrosov Street , no.4. The building was restored and transformed into a modern office that offers citizens the comfort of an open space. 19 employees, of which 17 operators, will provide services to citizens at the highest level. Thus, more than 40 000 inhabitants of Rezina district will be able to request services related to population registration, legal entities registration and licensing, vehicle registration, real estate registration and rights thereon in one place.
According to the Director of the Public Services Agency Sergiu Railean, the opening of multifunctional centers is only the first phase of the Public Services Reform. “Whereas earlier, when coming to “Registru” to apply for documents, a citizen, who got married or divorced, was sent to the Civil Status Service to provide confirmatory documents, now he/she has to come only once, with no need to present these documents, thus saving time and money”, Sergiu Railean added.
The opening of Rezina Multifunctional Center was positively appreciated by citizens and local public authorities. “I am glad that we have this center in Rezina, which will enable us to be closer not only to the citizens of our district, but also to those from Ribnita and Camenca, who will also receive services in this office”, it was mentioned by the Head of the Rezina district Eleonora Graur. “Only a few months ago it was a mess there. The town has to gain by owning this multifunctional center. As a public service beneficiary and as a resident of the town, I am sure I will receive the necessary services and the highest level of comfort”, the mayor of the town Simion Tatarov stated.
Also, during the opening ceremony four young people from Rezina district received their first identity card free of charge. The action is part of a campaign run by the Department of population registration of the Public Services Agency and aims at providing graduates of pre-university educational institutions with identity cards.
