29.06.2018 13:56

The Public Services Agency opened today, June 29, 2018, a new multifunctional center in the north of the country. Over 70 000 inhabitants of Briceni district will enjoy public services provided at the highest level. The opening ceremony of the „single window” center  in Briceni was attended by the parliamentary deputy Marian Lupu, the Head of the District Mihail Gnatiuc, the chief executive officials of the localities of the district and the administrative board of the PSA.

The Multifunctional Center Briceni is located in the center of the city on 21 Independentei Street. The building was transformed into a modern office, where 15 operators will work. Citizens may request services within the areas of activity of the PSA, such as registration of population, registration and licensing of legal entities, registration and valuation of real estate.

„To manage the stream of people in multifunctional centers we implemented the „electronic queue. It is a modern method that allows the applicant to efficiently manage his/her time. In the office there is a waiting area equipped with benches and display screens, where citizens can follow the queue”, the Deputy Director of the Public Services Agency Vitalie Ciolac said. He added that the office also provides conditions for people with disabilities.

According to the parliamentary deputy Marian Lupu, the Public Services Reform begins to yield results. „A concentration of all services in such a center will certainly give the opportunity to save time, efforts and financial resources. We will continue to implement the project in all the regions of the country so that the benefits can be felt in everyday life by every Moldovan citizen”, the official stated.

“Today’s event shows that all the actions undertaken by the authorities are for the benefit of the citizens. I think there will be no complaints in this office or their number will be minimal, because the team that will work here is a professional one with a positive attitude”, the Head of the District Mihail Gnatiuc said.

During the opening ceremony of the Multifunctional Center Briceni a solemn handing in of identity cards to some of the pupils aged over 16 years took place. Two pupils received their first identity cards free of charge. The action is part of a campaign run by the Public Services Agency, which aims at providing graduates of pre-university education institutions with identity documents.

It is worth mentioning that 38 Multifunctional Centers are to be opened in the country. 35 of them will function in the districts, and three – in the capital city.
