Beginning today, September 14, 2018, more than 100 000 inhabitants of Ungheni district will have access to quality public service provided based on the “one-stop-shop” principle. This is due to the opening of the Multifunctional Center Ungheni. The launching ceremony was attended by the executive board of the PSA, the Head of the District Ludmila Guzun, the Head of the Territorial Office Ungheni of the State Chancellery Petru Gherasimov and the Deputy Mayor Eduard Balan.
According to Sergiu Railean, the Director of the Public Services Agency, currently, there is work in progress on some legislative changes to eliminate a number of documents and to streamline the processes behind public services so that citizens shall submit as few documents as possible. “We, the PSA executive board, promise to make every effort in order to make our employees’ daily work easier and that the citizens would feel the benefits of reform implemented by the current Government,” Sergiu Railean added.
“If, for a period, we were in a dilemma weather or not we have made the right choice, now we can say with certainty that we have chosen the best location for public services. The Multifunctional Center is located close to the access ways and other public institutions,” Ludmila Guzun, the Head of the District Ungheni declared.
Present at the event, the Deputy Mayor of Ungheni Eduard Balan appreciated the advantages of the multifunctional centers: “By opening multifunctional centers, the inhabitants of this district have the opportunity to benefit from quality services that are closer to them.”
The Multifunctional Center Ungheni is located in the center of the city, on the 21 National Street. The edifice was repaired for four months, during this time the roof was changed. On the second floor of the building a hall for festive registration of marriages and newborns shall be arranged.
In the office, 22 operators shall provide public services in the field of population registration, registration and licensing of law units, registration and valuation of real estate. In addition, at the Multifunctional Center the citizens may request a change of driving license.
In order to streamline the process of service provision, the applicants are served on the basis of the electronic queue. At the same time, for the convenience of the citizens, the pre-registration is available in all multifunctional centers of the PSA via the Agency’s official website, by telephone or directly in the center.
The Public Services Agency will open multifunctional centers in all the regions of the country. Until now, 27 centers have been opened throughout the Republic.
