Public Services Reform in the Republic of Moldova, example for Serbia

25.10.2018 18:05

A delegation from the Republic of Serbia, consisting of representatives of the central public authorities, including the Serbian Prime Minister's Office, arrived for a three-day study visit to the Public Services Agency.

During the visit the representatives of the delegation became acquainted with the entire activity of the PSA. The Serbian delegation was particularly interested in the Automated Information System for the Management and Release of Permissive Acts, taking into account that the Serbian Government has recently launched a similar project, and Moldova has already made progress in this regard.

The guests had the opportunity to discuss about the Single window for permissive documents issuance with their colleagues from the Department of Registration and Licensing of the legal units responsible for the implementation of the project. In addition, for one day, they could observe the process of providing public services in accordance with the one-stop-shop principle within a multifunctional center in the Capital.

Serbian experts were also impressed by the museum of Public Services Agency, where they had the opportunity to see all the samples of documents and license plates issued on the territory of the Republic of Moldova since the 18th century, as well as registers compiled during the same period.
