The Public Services Agency informs that starting March 1, 2019, the state registration of legal entities, their branches and individual entrepreneurs will be carried out by the Offices for Registration of Legal Entities within the multifunctional centers of the PSA, regardless the location of their offices.
Following the amendments introduced by the Law no.133 of 15 November 2018 on Modernization of the Civil Code, the territorial principle for the registration of legal persons was excluded. At the same time, according to the new regulations, the notion of “subsidiary and representation" was replaced by the notion of “branch”.
Please note that by January 1, 2024 the legal entities, their subsidiaries and representations have to bring their constitutive documents/regulations in line with the changes made by law.
