The Public Services Agency informs that starting April 15, 2019, the services providing for the issuance of the identity card within three and six hours and the issuance of the passport within three hours, six hours and ten calendar days will be ceased.
Instead, the Agency shall implement services of identity card and passport issuance on the date of the applicant's request.
The issuance of the documents on the date of request shall be made by the Identity Documents Office „Centru” of the Chisinau municipality (IDO „Centru”), 56 Alexandru cel Bun Street. The applications will be received from Monday to Friday between 800 and 1300, and the documents will be handed over between 1630 and 1700. At the same time, the IDO „Centru” will provide services of identity cards issuance within 24 hours, and also within five working days.
It should be mentioned, that the office’s work schedule is from Monday to Saturday: 800 – 1700. On Saturdays, the IDO „Centru” will provide services only within five working days, 15 and 30 calendar days.
Also, in the municipal multifunctional centers Chisinau 1, Chisinau 2, Chisinau 3 and Chisinau 4 only services of issuing identity documents within five working days, 15 and 30 calendar days will be provided.
The measures were taken in order to improve the processes of rendering services of identity documents issuance and rregistration of applicants.
