Working meeting with the director of the National Agency for Public Health

On May 6, 2020 the Public Services Agency organized a working meeting with the director of the National Agency for Public Health, Mr. Nicolae Furtuna.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: the measures and recommendations for the prevention of COVID-19 infection, the activity of the PSA in a special regime established during the state of emergency and the range of services provided during this period.

Mr. Furtuna emphasized that public health authorities are taking all possible measures to fight the epidemic of coronavirus, and stressed that all institutions and employers have a role to play in limiting the spread of this disease.

The PSA team presented the measures taken by the Public Services Agency to reduce the risk of the virus spreading in the process of providing services.

In this context, Mr. Furtuna underlined that the PSA complies with all the necessary recommendations and mandatory measures for the prevention of coronavirus among both employees and service applicants. At the same time, the director of NAPH presented some additional recommendations and a practical guide on key measures to prevent COVID-19 infection in the workplace.

During the working meeting, the following steps were discussed: the initiative of the Public Services Agency to gradually expand the range of services provided by the PSA and the resumption of activity of the Agency’s subdivisions on a regular basis with mandatory compliance of protective measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 infection.

The director of the Public Services Agency, Mr. Vladislav Zara, thanked the director of NAPH for his visit, support and guidance regarding the activity of the PSA, especially during the global pandemic.
