The Public Services Agency announces that, starting October 1, 2020, the Vehicle Registration Offices in Tiraspol and Ribnita will resume their activities, which were suspended on September 1, 2020.
According to the amendments from 11.09.2020 stipulated in Law no. 170/2018, the registration mechanism for vehicles from the Transnistrian region with neutral number plates was extended until September 1, 2022 and, respectively, persons domiciled in the localities on the left bank of the Dniester region will be able to continue the registration of the vehicles with neutral number plates with the Public Services Agency subdivisions in Tiraspol and Ribnita.
It’s worth mentioning, that the two vehicle registration offices in the Transnistrian region started their activity on September 1, 2018 and during a 2 year-period they registered about 4 thousand vehicles, issuing neutral number plates and certificates (three letters and three digits), which allow access of vehicles from the Transnistrian region to the international road traffic.
