08.10.2020 08:27

During the period 05-07 October, 2020 within the Public Services Agency the Association “Romanian Movement for Quality” conducted an external audit (the 2nd  stage) to monitor the compliance of quality management systems, information security and anti-bribery with the requirements of standards SM EN ISO 9001: 2015 „Quality management systems. Requirements”, SM EN ISO/IEC 27001: 2017 “Information technology. Security techniques. Information security management systems. Requirements” and SM ISO 37001: 2016“ Anti-bribery management systems. Requirements with guidance for use”. It should be mentioned that the first stage of monitoring was carried out in 2019.

Because of the extraordinary conditions generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, for the first time within the PSA the surveillance audit was carried out remotely. The audit covered the main subdivisions and key functions of the PSA. The international auditors communicated with the management and employees of the PSA, performed the analysis of documents and records and appreciated the actions taken by the management of the Public Services Agency regarding the optimization and improvement of the quality of provided services and products.

The results of the audit attest to the functionality of the quality management system, information security and anti-bribery, the training and ability of the employees to perform their duties at the highest level. The independent auditors confirmed that the process of providing public services by the PSA corresponds to the best international practices.

At the same time, during the audit a series of improvement recommendations were formulated, which will allow the further development of a management system oriented towards satisfying the needs of the citizens and the whole society.
