The Public Services Agency informs the citizens of the Republic of Moldova that on Sunday, November 15, on the day of the second round of the elections of the President of the Republic of Moldova, the PSA Multifunctional centers will operate, according to a special work schedule: from 700 to 2100. At the request of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova over the age of 18, provisional identity cards will be issued and the manufactured identity cards will be handed over.
From 10.11.2020 to 15.11.2020, at the request of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights the provisional identity card will be issued as follows:
- free of charge, including citizens who do not enjoy benefits at the issuance of this document in accordance with the provisions of the Government Decision no. 210/2014 on granting benefits for the issuance of identity documents;
- in a simplified manner, after establishing the identity and legal status (belonging to the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova), without the mandatory presentation of civil status documents, if previously the applicant was registered in the State Population Register and no changes occured in marital status and personal data of the applicant since the issuance of the last identity document, as well as in cases when information on changes in civil status and personal data, on the relevant civil status documents is updated in the State Population Register;
- according to the territorial principle of rendering services to population and namely:
- at the Multifunctional center in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant has his/her domicile or a valid registration of a temporary residence;
- if the applicant has registration both at the place of domicile and at the place of temporary residence and the latter is valid, the provisional identity card will be issued only at the PSA subdivision in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant has a valid registration at the place of temporary residence;
- citizens with voting rights, who previously did not hold any identity documents, will be issued a provisional identity card at the Multifunctional center in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant will simultaneously be registered at the place of his/her domicile or temporary residence;
- citizens with voting rights deregistered from the register - at the Multifunctional Center within the territorial jurisdiction of which they have their last place of domicile or, as the case may be, their last place of temporary residence, or at the relevant subdivision in whose territorial jurisdiction the applicant will simultaneously be registered at the place of his/her domicile or temporary residence;
- citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting right who, on election day, will request a provisional identity card in exchange for the identity card due to its absence in that period of time (forgotten at work, in another locality, etc.), mandatory and in the established manner, will declare the loss of the document and will be notified about the procedure for restoring the status of the identity card in case of its recovery;
- citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting right who hold a valid identity card on the day of the election and declare the loss or theft of the attachment to the identity card, for the application of the voting mark, will be issued a temporary identity card if they declare the loss of the held identity card, too. They will be notified about the restoration procedure of the identity card status and the issuance of the attachment to the identity card in exchange for the one declared lost or stolen.
The citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who submitted the application for the issuance of the identity card from November 2 to November 12, 2020 can receive the identity card until November 13, 2020 even if the deadline for the document production exceeds the mentioned date, regardless of the paid fee.
