On December 9, 2020 the executive board of the Public Services Agency participated in the online meeting of the National Council for Integrated State Border Management, organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
During the event, the implementation of the National Strategy for Integrated State Border Management for the period 2018-2023 was discussed, the progress report on the implementation of the Action Plan for 2018-2020, as well as the draft Action Plan for 2021-2023 were presented.
The Strategy is the main policy document that reflects the priorities and vision of the state in the field of integrated state border management to ensure the border security, prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime.
The general objective of the Strategy is to strengthen the border security and facilitate the legal movement of people and goods across the border, subject to the conditions of prevention and suppression of illegal migration, cross-border crime and terrorism.
