The Public Services Agency announces that the provision of services of issuing neutral license plates for trailers of vehicles in categories provided for in p. 1 of the Protocol Decision of April 24, 2018, on participation in international road traffic of motor vehicles from the Transnistrian region, which do not perform commercial activity is available starting April 1, 2021, within the Vehicle Registration Offices in Tiraspol municipality and Rybnitsa town.
This particular service will be provided in accordance with the provisions of the Additional Protocol of 30 September, 2020 on amendments and additions listed in Annex No. 1 to the Protocol Decision of 24 April, 2018 and the provisions of the Decision of the Institute of Standardization of the Republic of Moldova No. 45 of 26 March, 2021, by which the national technical standard was adjusted.
It should be reminded, that according to the amendments from 11.09.2020 to the Law no. 170/2018, the term of applying the mechanism of issuing the registration certificate and neutral number plates to the motor vehicles in the Transnistrian region was extended until September 1, 2022 and, respectively, persons residing in the localities on the left bank of the Dniester River will continue to register their vehicles receiving neutral number plates at the Public Services Agency subdivisions located in Tiraspol municipality and Rybnitsa town.
