The Public Services Agency draws the attention of driving licence applicants to the most common mistakes made during the practical driving test, and namely:
- failure to control vehicle (incorrect gears selection, incorrect use of clutch, accelerator, steering, etc.);
- stopping the engine when performing maneuvers (the first stopping of the engine is not penalized);
- failure to signal or incorrect use of signal to indicate the driving direction, incorrect use of gears, clutch;
- failure to give precedence to vehicles and pedestrians;
- when moving off, the vehicle rolls backward more than 20 cm;
- performing prohibited maneuvers (stopping, parking, reversing, etc.);
- failure to comply with the traffic signs and road markings, etc.

At the same time, it should be mentioned that in order to ensure a transparent and objective examination process, the theoretical and practical tests are video and audio monitored. In addition, the Agency’s vehicles used for conducting the driving test are equipped with a GPS system that allows to identify the location of vehicle at any time.
Please note that pre-registration and expedited pre-registration for the theoretical and practical examination for obtaining the driving license at the competent territorial subdivisions of PSA, shall be done exclusively through the Agency's resources: online by accessing the official website of the institution www.asp.gov.md, by telephone at the contact numbers of the territorial subdivisions for vehicles registration and drivers qualification or directly at the office, as well as by calling the unique number of the Call Center 14 909.
Expedited pre-registration at the competence subdivisions of Chisinau and Balti municipalities shall be carried out only on the website of the Agency www.asp.gov.md. The pre-registration on an expedited basis is accessible from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, within the limits of available places.
It should be pointed out that both the pre-registration and expedited pre-registration service for the examination, is provided free of charge by the Public Services Agency. Furthermore, the fee paid in such cases during the process of admission to the driving licence exam, when filling the relevant application, represents the tariff for the provision of the examination service.
