The Public Services Agency informs the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights, that following the amendments recently approved within the Government meeting of 16.06.2021, in the period immediately preceding the early parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021, starting June 11, 2021 the Public Services Agency will ensure the manufacturing of identity cards for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights based on all applications submitted between June 11, 2021 - July 8, 2021 inclusive, until July 9, 2021 even if the deadline for the order exceeds this date, regardless of the paid tariff.
The citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who will request the identity card on Friday and Saturday before the election day, will be able to obtain, the provisional identity card, which will be issued upon request during those days paying an amount according to the established tariff.
According to the provisions of the Government Decision no. 966/2020 on the services provided by the Public Services Agency, the service for the issuance of the provisional identity card is provided free of charge to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting right, who are currently present on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, if on the day of the elections they do not have a valid identity document necessary for voting in accordance with the law.
In order to efficiently organize the process of timely provision with identity documents, we advise the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights to verify the validity of their identity documents and contact the multifunctional centers of the PSA to obtain valid documents until the date of the elections of July 11, 2021.
Also, we suggest that the administration of penitentiary institutions and criminal investigation isolators, social assistance or specialized medical institutions take measures to provide the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting right who are placed in these institutions with identity cards.
We reiterate that all the services are provided by the territorial subdivisions of the PSA according to pre-registration (except for vehicle registration services and the death registration service). The pre-registration is made through the official website of the Agency www.asp.gov.md or by phone at the contact numbers of the multifunctional centers, as well as by calling the Call Center at 14 909.
