The Public Services Agency informs the citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights that on Sunday, July 11, 2021, the day of early parliamentary elections, the Multifunctional centers will work according to a special working schedule. Thus, the centers will work from 7:00 to 21:00.
At the request of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova over the age of 18, provisional identity cards will be issued and the manufactured identity cards will be handed over.
It should be mentioned that on July 11, 2021 the Multifunctional Centers will ensure the free of charge issuance of provisional identity cards at the request of citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who are currently present on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, if on the day of the elections they do not have a valid identity document necessary for voting in accordance with the law.
The issuance of provisional identity cards will be carried out according to the territorial principle and namely:
- a) at the Multifunctional Center in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant has his/her domicile or a valid registration of a temporary residence;
- b) if the applicant has registration both at the place of domicile and at the place of temporary residence and the latter is valid, the provisional identity card will be issued only at the Multifunctional Center in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant has a valid registration at the place of temporary residence;
- c) citizens with voting rights, who previously did not held any identity documents, will be issued a provisional identity card at the PSA subdivision in whose area of territorial jurisdiction the applicant will simultaneously be registered at the place of his/her domicile or temporary residence;
- d) citizens with voting rights deregistered from the register - at the Multifunctional Center within the territorial jurisdiction of which they have their last place of domicile or, as the case may be, their last place of temporary residence, or at the Multifunctional Center in whose territorial jurisdiction the applicant will simultaneously be registered at the place of his/her domicile or temporary residence;
- e) students and pupils with voting rights, admitted to educational institutions in localities where they do not have registration at the place of domicile or temporary residence, the provisional identity card will be issued at the PSA subdivision in whose territorial jurisdiction the educational institution is located, at the presentation of the student/pupil’s card of the educational institution from the relevant locality;
- f) persons in penitentiary institutions and criminal investigation isolators, social assistance or specialized medical institutions, the provisional identity card will be issued at the Multifunctional Center in whose territorial jurisdiction the relevant institution is located.
Applicants will not present civil status documents if no changes in their personal data have been made since the issuance of the last identity document or if the information on personal data and their modification is attested in the State Register of Population.
The citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who submitted the application for the issuance of the identity card from June 11 to July 08, 2021, can receive the identity card until July 11, 2021 even if the deadline for the document manufacturing exceeds the mentioned date, regardless of the paid fee.
