The Public Services Agency finds that after the restrictions on border crossings were removed, the availability for our fellow citizens to travel appeared, as well as the starting of the summer period, obviously, within the PSA subdivisions increased the number of applicants who are applying for identity documents.
In this regard, the Public Services Agency takes all possible measures to streamline the queues within the territorial subdivisions of the institution, and also offers a lot of services that allow saving and optimizing the time of applicants and, at the same time, to avoid the need to visit the PSA office.
We recommend the applicants to solve the issues regarding the provision of the PSA services remotely, particularly using the following possibilities: phone consultations, e-mail, the PSA website, ordering electronic services and delivery of documents to the applicant, pre-registration at any Multifunctional center, online payment for services, etc.
We reiterate that citizens have the opportunity to plan their visit in advance to the PSA subdivisions, through the official website of the Agency www.asp.gov.md or by phone at the contact numbers of the multifunctional centers, as well as through the Call-Center at 14 909. The pre-registration service is free of charge and is available 24 hours per day depending on the office’s work schedule.
To save and optimize the time of the citizens, the PSA provides a convenient and quick possibility to pay online for the services rendered by the PSA through the Governmental Electronic Payments Service (MPay). The payment shall be made by means of any mobile device connected to the Internet, through Web-Banking or www.mpay.gov.md/services.
At the same time, the documents issued by the PSA can be delivered directly to the place of domicile, residence or location of the applicant on the territory of the Republic of Moldova through the post offices. Such a way of delivering documents, that are ordered within the territorial subdivisions of the PSA gives the beneficiary the opportunity to save time by avoiding visiting the PSA office to receive the ordered documents.
Another convenient service rendered by the PSA is the availability to order identity documents through the Mobile Documentation Office. The service is provided throughout the country by the mobile offices Chisinau, Comrat and Balti.
By the Mobile Office are provided the following services:
- the issuance of the identity documents;
- registration at the domicile or/and residence;
- registration of a child with assignment of the state identification number;
- authorized immigration application;
- delivery to the requested address of the identity documents, ordered by a natural person or legal entity or members of the same family (first and second degree relatives), in the same period of time and at the same address (in Chisinau, Balti and Comrat and in other localities of the Chisinau municipality).

- by submitting on-line an electronic application (www.e-services.md);
- by submitting an application to any Multifunctional Center.
The order of the mobile office service is provided free of charge in the following cases:
- for the provision of services on the issuance of the identity documents of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova to immobilized persons;
- for the provision of services on the issuance of the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova to a severely disabled person, who will travel abroad for rehabilitation, recovery or medical treatment, on the basis of a confirmatory certificate issued by the territorial social assistance structures or on the basis of a request issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection;
- in a medical institution, for the provision of the service on the issuance of the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova to a child under 1 year old, who will travel abroad for medical treatment, on the basis of the request issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection or on the basis of the request of the relevant medical institution.
