During the meeting of July 27, 2022, the Government adopted the Decision according to which the tariffs for some services provided by the Public Services Agency are to be reduced. Also, the list of beneficiaries receiving facilities for obtaining public services will be expanded.
Thus, according to the provisions of the document, a number of changes are to be made, including:
1. The reduction of tariffs for services of issuing the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, as follows:
- from 850 lei to 650 lei (within 20 working days);
- from 1280 lei to 1240 lei (within 10 working days);
- from 1490 lei to 1430 lei (within 5 working days);
- from 2130 lei to 2080 lei (on the day of request).
Annually, the Public Services Agency issues about 450 thousand passports, of which about 60% are issued within 20 working days.
2. The reduction of tariffs by 20% for services of issuing extracts from the informational resources of the Public Services Agency, in the form of an electronic document, ordered through web applications.
Currently, the Public Services Agency issues 7 such extracts. Starting January 2023 the list could be extended up to 27 extracts in electronic format. Please note that to order and receive an extract in electronic format, the applicant must have an electronic signature.
3.The reduction of about 3 times of tariffs for services of manufacturing identity documents for refugees, beneficiaries of humanitarian protection and stateless persons, setting the tariff rates at the level of national identity documents, as follows:
- from 350 lei to 130 lei (within 20 working days);
- from 700 lei to 260 lei (within 10 working days);
- from 1050 lei to 390 lei (within 5 working days);
- from 1400 lei to 520 lei (within 1 working day);
- from 1750 lei to 650 lei (on the day of request).
4. The free provision, within 5 working days, of the information from the state informational resources owned by the Public Services Agency, in the form of an electronic document, to the media representatives.
The new tariffs will come into effect starting August 1, 2022.
