The Public Services Agency announces that starting today, August 15, 2022, all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova can apply for passports with no restrictions and with no need to present confirmatory documents when requesting passports on an expedited basis.
We remind you that starting August 1, 2022, the fee for issuing the passport within 20 working days has been reduced from 850 lei to 650 lei.
At the same time, citizens can apply for the issuance of two passports simultaneously or request a second one even if they already have one valid passport. Restrictions on the issuance of passports have been canceled based on the decision no. 32 of August 8, 2022 of the Commission for Emergency Situations.
According to the current legislation, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova can apply for passport issuance to any multifunctional center, regardless of their place of domicile or residence, by pre-registration and on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
To apply for a passport, you can pre-register through:

By means of MDelivery service the citizens can apply for passport delivery both in the country and abroad. MDelivery service is available for passports requested within 5, 10 or 20 working days and is provided for a fee, at the beneficiary’s request only. Currently, MDelivery includes five postal service providers which ensure the delivery of documents both nationally and internationally: S.E. “Poșta Moldovei”, Nova Poshta, Muvi Express, FAN Courier and DHL.
The procedure for requesting MDelivery service is simple and is carried out at the multifunctional center. The order can be tracked by the number of the order on the official portal of the MDelivery service: mdelivery.gov.md.
