Starting January 1, 2023, farm households will be registered exclusively by the Public Services Agency. Previously, this competence was conferred upon the local authorities, as there was no unified state registration body developed.
The provision is contained in the draft law, voted in the second reading, during the session of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on September 22, 2022.
Currently, the Public Services Agency has a network of over 40 territorial subdivisions by means of which it is possible to ensure the provision of quality services to applicants, excluding the need to register at the town hall and subsequent presentation to the State Tax Service to ensure tax registration.

The document was developed in order to standardize the registration of legal entities by assigning a unique identifier to them and aims at improving the regulatory framework related to the state registration of peasant (farm) households.
Нормативная база включает в себя все этапы жизненного цикла правовой единицы: удостоверение факта создания, реорганизации, ликвидации, приостановления или возобновления деятельности, а также факта внесения изменений в учредительные документы, внесения сведений в Государственный регистр.
The regulated framework includes all phases of the life cycle of a legal entity: certification of the fact of establishment, reorganization, liquidation, suspension or resumption of activity, changes made to the constituent documents, and entering of data in the State Register.
