During October 19-20, 2022, the Republic of Moldova hosted the first Meeting of representatives of the Eastern Partnership states on launch of a new regional cooperation project in the field of digital transformation and reengineering of public services.
The project launch meeting was organized under the auspices of the E-Governance Agency, in cooperation with the Public Services Agency and GIZ Moldova (German Agency for International Cooperation).
At the opening of the event, Mircea Esanu, Director of the Public Services Agency, welcomed the initiative to create regional networks in the field of reengineering, e-government and digitization of public services, emphasizing the importance of building confidence and partnerships to ensure the best solutions in overcoming challenges the region is facing.
“Digital transformation is essential in the efficient provision of public services and organizational development of the Public Services Agency. Learning from advanced experiences of other Eastern Partnership countries and being able to share the experience of our institution is a unique and special opportunity and we are glad to have the opportunity to participate in this event. Thus, we will be able to improve our services, bringing them in line with citizens' expectations.”- Mircea Eșanu, Director of the PSA said.
The event was attended by over 30 representatives of the authorities responsible for e-government and public service provision from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.
