Citizens requiring a registration number with certain symbols (for a car, motorcycle, trailer) can reserve it online.
Online reservation of a registration number (a combination of letters and numbers on the license plate) with selected symbols is carried out based on an electronic request that is to be submitted by the applicant on the electronic services portal e-services.md.
The registration number is reserved for a period of 30 calendar days and the cost of the service is 300 lei. This term can be extended for a fee (100 lei/month) here.
A license plate with previously requested and reserved symbols can be ordered at one of the subdivisions (offices) for vehicle registration (S(O)VR). The cost of a license plate with symbols requested by the applicant varies from 3300 to 63800 lei - for a car; from 2100 to 40600 lei - for motorcycles; from 2100 to 13300 lei - for trailers.
Only citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who have a state identification number of a natural person – IDNP and are registered in the State Register of Population, can benefit from this service. The fact that the applicant doesn’t own a vehicle cannot be a reason for refusing to provide the respective service.

Since the beginning of this year, 275 registration numbers containing requested symbols have been reserved.
