The Certification Commission within the Public Services Agency informs that as of 30.11.2022, 61 non-commercial organizations with the status of public interest are registered in the State Register of Legal Persons (the list of organizations can be found here).
It should be noted that the awarding of the status of public interest by the Certification Commission means the recognition by the state of the fact that a certain non-commercial organization (private institution, public association or foundation) carries out activities of public interest that contribute to the development, support of some strategic areas for the state development (education, culture, science and art; health protection, etc.) and activities that strengthen the rule of law, democracy and determine the social and economic development of the country.
As a result of obtaining the status of public interest, non-commercial organizations can benefit from:
- granting fiscal facilities according to the law;
