Citizens of the Republic of Moldova who apply for the issuance of international driving licences will be able to receive them at any specified address, both in the country and abroad.
International driving licences are delivered by means of the governmental document delivery electronic service - MDelivery.
The respective service can be requested by the applicant at any of the 40 multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency located throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, and is provided for a fee.
Currently MDelivery includes five postal service providers, which ensures the delivery of documents both nationally and internationally: S.E. “Posta Moldovei”, Nova Poshta, Muvi Express, FAN Courier and DHL. Citizens can choose one of the postal/courier service providers, depending on the delivery time and price of the service.
The procedure for requesting MDelivery service is simple, and is carried out at the multifunctional center. When submitting the application for the issuance of an international driving licence of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, the applicant can additionally order the delivery of the document to his/her home. In such case, the applicant shall provide the operator with the following information: telephone number, e-mail for contact and delivery address. When the submission of the electronic delivery order is completed, the applicant will receive a confirmation notification with the number of the MDelivery order on the indicated email. The order can be tracked by the number of the order on the official portal of the MDelivery service: mdelivery.gov.md.
The Public Services Agency currently can deliver by means of MDelivery the following documents: the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, extracts from the State Register of Legal Entities and the international driving licence.
