In 2022, the Department of vehicle registration and driver qualification of the Public Services Agency (PSA) recorded 154761 attempts to take the exam for obtaining the right to drive category B vehicles that were made by 52551 people.
Of the total number of candidates who took the practical test to obtain the right to drive category B vehicles, 17% passed it at the first attempt, which represents 5,8% of the total number of attempts to pass the exam.

In the context of the increase in the number of traffic accidents that resulted in the death or injury of people, the Public Services Agency urges you to thoroughly prepare for the exams and avoid any proposal to take them fraudulently. The negligence and lack of skills of some traffic participants generate the terrible statistics of road accidents.
The fact of possessing a driving licence is not the only one that really matters, it is also important to safely drive and respect the rules of road traffic.
