The top management of the Public Services Agency (PSA) had a meeting with the World Bank team during its working visit to Chisinau. The discussions focused on the analysis of the activities carried out within the Land Registration and Property Valuation Project, financed by the World Bank and implemented by the PSA in partnership with the Public Property Agency and the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre.
The project includes cadastral works of registering private properties, correcting errors or works of public properties delimitation on the territories administered by 452 town halls. The works are carried out in a volume of 348 thousand private properties for which citizens will receive free of charge property rights, 82 thousand properties that are subject to public delimitation and 151 thousand immovable properties for which corrections are made in cadastral documentation. Another 90 territorial administrative units are to be included in the project.
Through the implementation of the project the following objectives are to be achieved: massive registration of real estate and granting of property titles to citizens; delimitation of public properties; development of property valuation models; improvement of land administration system and strengthening of spatial data system.
The representatives of the World Bank noted the progress made in the project implementation, expressing their openness to fund other instruments that will contribute to achieve the objectives of the project.

The Land Registration and Property Valuation Project is implemented by the PSA in partnership with the Public Property Agency and the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre, based on the financing agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Development Association. The project contributes to the creation of a fair, transparent and efficient land administration system, facilitating economic growth and social development in the Republic of Moldova.
