No. Since 3 January 2024, cadastral services have not been within the competence of the Public Services Agency (PSA). They are provided by the Public Institution “Cadastrul Bunurilor Imobile” (Real Estate Cadastre, IP CBI). However, some PSA Multifunctional Centres still have Cadastre service windows where applications can be submitted.
Why doesn’t the PSA provide cadastral services anymore?
As part of the PSA restructuring, cadastral activities were transferred on 3 January 2024 to a separate institution, IP “Cadastrul Bunurilor Imobile”. It was founded by the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre. IP CBI is responsible for:
- maintaining the real estate cadastre;
- cadastral works and real estate valuation;
- state registration of real estate and the rights to it;
- providing public services in the field of cadastre.
Can I apply for a cadastral service at a PSA centre?
Some PSA Multifunctional Centres still have Cadastre service windows where you can submit an application. However, these services are gradually moving to IP CBI’s own offices, and in some localities they are available only at IP CBI territorial offices.
How do I find out where to go?
Before your visit, check where you can obtain the service you need. The current list of services, fees, required documents and office addresses is available on the official IP CBI website: www.ipcbi.gov.md
