Starting from 20.04.2023, entrepreneurs who operate in such areas as import/storage/wholesale of alcoholic products and/or ethyl alcohol must have in their possession or any other kind of use specialized warehouses with an area of at least 500 m2.
At the same time, all requesters/holders of licence for the import/storage/wholesale of alcoholic products and/or ethyl alcohol, in order of issuance/reissuance or extension of their licences for activity in the respective fields, shall submit to the PSA, among other documents, a copy of the document of ownership or of another legal document, on the basis of which the entrepreneur acquired the right of use over the specialized warehouse with an area of at least 500 m2. The provisions are set in point 9 of Law No. 77 of 31.03.2022 for the amendment of Law no. 1100/2000 on manufacture and circulation of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic products published in Official Monitor No. 115-117, art. 198, and enter into force today, April 20, 2023.
