The Public Services Agency informs you that if you have an electronic signature, you can report the loss or theft of an identity document online, without having to visit ASP service counters.
Which documents can you report online as lost or stolen?
✔ Identity card;
✔ Passport;
✔ Identity document.
Who can access this service?
✔ Any adult (over 18 years of age) — for their own documents;
✔ Parents (who are officially married) — for the documents of their minor children. (Attention: a separate application must be submitted for each child).
How does the service work?
✔ Access the evo.gov.md platform or open the EVO mobile application. Enter “loss or theft of documents” in the search bar;
✔ Log in and sign: you need an active electronic signature to confirm and sign the declaration;
✔ The service is free of charge for reporting the loss of the identity card and identity document. A state fee of 50 lei is charged for reporting the loss of a passport. It can be paid quickly via MPay (or at a bank, post office or payment terminals) by 23:59 on the day the application is submitted;
✔ When reporting the loss/theft of an identity card containing an electronic signature, including one issued free of charge, the electronic signature will be automatically revoked, with no possibility of restoration;
✔ After you submit the application (and pay the fee, in the case of reporting the loss of a passport), the document is automatically marked as “Lost”/“Stolen” in the State Population Register, and you receive a confirmation by e-mail.
